Residents are asked to call the Sheriff's Office if they have a lost/missing dog. Many times dogs are found at-large after
breaking a leash or just plain getting loose.

Residents should call the County Communications Center at 712-757-3415 or 712-957-3415 and report their missing
status. The Communications Center receives calls from residents who see or find a dog loose and do not know the
owner's identity. The Communications Center may already have that "lost/missing" dog reported and can "match up" the
dog with their owner. We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week!
