The O'Brien County Law Enforcement Center was
completed in 2000. Located in Primghar just across the
street from the County Court House. The Law Enforcement
Center has many functions which includes the offices of the
Sheriff, Deputies, 911 Communications, Jail, Emergency
Management and the Records Division.

| Construction for the O'Brien County Court House was completed in 1917 for a total of $160,000. The Court House is located in the center of Primghar with the original brick road surrounding it. This block is usually called the Square. Many different services are provided within. |

qualify their weapon on a range. Northwest Iowa Community College, Sheldon will
conduct both clasroom & range work. Click on Weapons Permits for details!

April 27, 2008 - A local citizen recieved a phone call about her "Utility bill" being late. She
was asked to send $25.00 but the citizen did not give out any personal information nor
send any money. There are other more infrequent scams being done every day that
involve YOU THE CITIZEN being asked to give out personal information, banking
information and credit card information. DO NOT GIVE IT OUT!
